Brett Ireland - RAW NT (AUS)

Brett Ireland on nimestään huolimatta Australian villin pohjoisosan, Northern Territory kasvatti.

Kenguroiden ja krokotiilin luvatusta maasta tuleva Brett ei soita kuitenkaan dingoa, vaan huuliharpun, kitaran ja lowbown (1/4 basso ja 3/4 kitara) tuhdittamaa rouheaa bluesia tomwaitsmäiseen tyyliinsä oman RAW NT labelinsa alla.

Brett on kiertänyt Australiaa keikoillaan vuodesta 1992 ja kiertää loppuvuodesta 2019 ensi kertaa Skandinaviaa.

Brett on mainio showmies ja esittää bluesiaan pilke silmäkulmassa!

Brett by his own words:

"First concert attended was ZZ Top & Rose Tattoo at Memorial drive. My 1st gig was 1992 on top of the bar at the Royal Admiral hotel in Hindley St, Adelaide. Love the blues, loves travelling and gigging solo & keeping a low profile.

The string instrument used on these tracks is called a Lowebow. Its ¼ bass and ¾ guitar without frets. It has 2 output jacks & no volume dial. There is only one way to play a Lowebow and the answer is in my songs, the secret is “attitude”… I got mine of the originator in Memphis in March 2013, even wrote a tune about the encounter later. I also play harmonica nearly as long as I’ve played guitar. Played plenty of live gigs in NT, WA, SA and just a few sly ones overseas!
